When teenager Lilli pulls out her notebook looking for a local Miami folklore story for a school project, she unknowingly unlocks a memory her grandmothers have carried for decades.
What starts as casual suggestions about alligators and hurricanes takes a turn when the grandmothers hint at something far more interesting, the Skunk Ape.
